Every year around the beginning of November. I plan our annual Holiday gathering that brings together JK Chef Collection chefs from Florida, California, New York & Connecticut. Every year we say farewell to JK chef collection chefs who have moved on to private chef jobs for families here and abroad. Many of the chefs from our collection never have an opportunity to meet and greet other Private Chefs during the course of the year.
I send out fun invites with a double face R.S.V.P card that also request their favorite restaurant or cocktail bar. Last year we chose Williamsburg, Brooklyn, The Westlight bar on top of the William Vail Hotel. The bar has sweeping views of the New York skyline and a hipster vibe we all loved. I love bar games during cocktail hour. It totally breaks the ice and really brings our culinary team together. Chefs get to share their most embarrassing chef moments or a dinner that won them a standing ovation. This year will be different ! Stay tuned on how different!
